As a proposal is made to develop the coal bed methane in the area known as the Sacred Headwaters of British Columbia, local resident and chef Ali Howard embarks on a 26-day mission to swim the entire 610 km length of the Skeena River. The Skeena is one of three rivers which start in the Sacred Headwaters, and Howard and her crew hope to start discussion on the proposed development, its environmental effects, and the future of the Skeena watershed area.
